With the term end-of-line automation, Optima Group Nonwovens summarizes all machines and services from Quality Control through Pack Packing to the finished pallet. The company proposes solutions that cover the entire chain of tasks – and more. Here is a brief overview of the machines and options:
Frequently, processing begins with the Total Quality Control Center, abbreviated as TQCC. It is positioned downstream from the Product Packing units and offers comprehensive quality control: Metal detector, weight check for parts control, reject function and product labelling are common features.
Optionally, a buffer station can be integrated upstream of the secondary packaging units. The downstream grouping unit groups the products packaged before into the desired formation. In the following, the finished formations are either guided to a case packer via subsequent conveyor system and packaged there, or they are film-packaged into a transport or consumer package (display packer / bundler).
The Unit Packing is the last step in the process. The products in their secondary package are grouped into formation by a grouping device. An integrated stretcher palletizer receives the products and places layer after layer onto the pallet. Without requiring intermediate transport, the finished pallet is stabilized by a stretcher. (For comprehensive description of all advantages of the RTP series palletizer by Optima, please refer to page 11).
After coding, the finished and secured pallet with its layers can optionally be added to a buffer or buffer storage location. From there, the pallets are directly placed onto trucks by forklift or brought to a warehouse.
With its machine range, Optima Group Nonwovens underlines its commitment to excel as a supplier of turnkey solutions for an exceptionally comprehensive range of tasks. And what’s more: Optima Group Nonwovens systems include high-end technology and proprietary solutions that are clearly ahead of other known approaches.
