Export award for Optima do Brasil
Since its establishment under Rolf Geissinger, our Brazilian branch has developed significant construction and manufacturing capacities.
Machines built at this facility are mainly delivered to the consumer or nonwovens industries in South America. Even the machine for processing the CombiSticks - the new tea bag innovation – has originally been built in Brazil and was developed further in co-operation with the Schwaebisch Hall headquarters. The export prize is based on the foreign trade statistics of the Sao Paolo region, the strongest economic region in Brazil, and the award ceremony took place in December 2009.
