“You have reached your goal!”

With its own pharmaceutical products and as contract manufacturer, Fresenius Kabi Austria is well positioned on the market. It’s a novelty, however, that the company domiciled in Graz now also produces prefilled syringes. What were the criteria by which the order was ultimately assigned? Criteria for assigning the job were the price, the company’s expertise in nest technology, customer orientation, and flexibility. Before coming to a final decision, we went out of our way to visit all potential suppliers and to gain insight into their assembly and manufacturing facilities. We also scrutinized references and organizational structures. Due to our rather distinctive requirements, customer orientation and flexibility were absolutely indispensable. We assigned the project to Optima, because we found that the company fulfilled these criteria best, plus we saw them consistently applied in all contacts. At the conclusion of the project, I am convinced that we made the right decision.
