Technologies and synergies lead to strong growth

The Optima group (Schwaebisch Hall) concluded the financial year 2013 with a rise in consolidated sales to over 300 million Euros. The strategy of the manufacturer of packaging systems and process technology of combining groundbreaking and promising technologies with one another and then adapting them to the specific requirements of this sector continues to provide a positive outlook.

International experts, perspectives and processes

Exciting talks on a range of topics: The 2013 Pharma Forum once again showcased innovations and technological trends in pharmaceutical packaging processes. Operators themselves reported on how well the machines work in daily practice as well as what advantages and limits they encounter. Another area of focus was project management, an aspect which is essential to successful packaging lines. Organisers Optima Pharma welcomed international visitors to the event held at company headquarters in Schwäbisch Hall from 25 to 26 September. Visitors were very positive about the opportunity to network at a high professional level.

Machines from Optima Consumer offer the perfect solutions for nearly every application. Equipment ranges from single standard machines through to custom turnkey packaging lines. The technology spectrum comprises cleaning and hygiene functions as well as robot-supported handling and complex assembly functions. At the FachPack, OPTIMA will present a selection from its consumer machine range for viscous foods (such as chocolate spreads), cosmetics and a dosing solution for powders.

OPTIMA – further locations and great potential for new developments

In the business year 2012, the packaging machine manufacturer Optima (Schwäbisch Hall, Germany) has once again shown positive growth. The consolidated turnover of the group rose from 220 to 240 million euro, an increase of around nine percent. At the end of the year the company had 1,700 employees (previous year 1,500).
