New Structure Has Proven its Worth OPTIMA GROUP Continues Growth Trend

Schwäbisch Hall. The fiscal year 2006 was marked by a number of factors at the Optima Group (Schwäbisch Hall). First of all, the economic success that characterized previous fiscal years was further increased. The economic expansion has been coupled with a space expansion: Major construction work has been underway for three subsidiaries, some of which has already been completed. The new structure of the group with its three divisions pharma, consumer and nonwovens – dating back to 2005 – has been broadened: The subsidiaries of the individual divisions are for the most part, integrated in joint facilities. The Optima Group manufactures filling, packaging and production machines as well as automation software for these industries.

The system continuously checks all critical points, in addition to all functions that are safety-relevant or may have a significant effect on the mobility. The basic idea to optimize the availability of the overall system can be applied just as easily to filling and packaging machines. Here, the goal is to further reduce or entirely eliminate unplanned interruptions in the production and packaging process. As a member and associated member, respectively , of the ZuPack project, the Optima Group and Autocon are pioneering work in application-oriented research. ZuPack is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
