Wherever possible, machines of Optima are furnished with technologies that permit economization of packaging materials. In addition, Optima’s sophisticated engineering know-how contributes to significantly diminished product waste.

Optima applies energy and resource-saving technologies in the design of its new machine concepts, reducing consumption to the current necessary minimum in operational practice.

Our environment protection management system – controlled by independent external organizations

Since 2007, independent external certification institutions have been implementing annual environment audits according to the universally recognized standard ISO 14001. This approach ensures reliable and valid auditing and ongoing improvement of all eco-relevant structures and processes within the company.

The company’s environment protection management system has already resulted in major and effective energy savings, achieved by intelligent light systems, use of machine waste heat for the backup of heating systems, concrete core activation for cooling or heating, and a company-owned sewage water treatment facility etc. Optima further contributes to resource protection by its recycling-oriented waste management, that filters recyclable resources and supplementary water saving systems.
